Evangelist Ken Barber Exonerated
In Fire Incident
A Grand Jury in Sargeant, Texas gave a No-bill Nov. 14 after hearing testimony from Bro. Barber and some of his children in the incident of a fire which demolished both trailer homes where the family lived (See July/Aug Trumpet).
The preacher was arrested on the spot for child neglect and was also vilified in the local press. Bro. Barber said that the D.A. delivered the message to him personally and, “seemed to rejoice with us.” The family thanks all who prayed and the pastors that stood with them.
